Yes... After five years of wonderful dating! I AM ENGAGED!! Zach surprised me Christmas morning with a beautiful proposal (and lets not forget the ring...its amazing if you ask me...) I had no idea. He gave me a present Christmas Eve that I was sure was my only gift for the year... boy was I wrong!

My whole family was really excited! Moms cried, sisters screamed.. Austin didn't react much.. but then again he never does!, and Dad already knew .. Good ol Zach asked permission.. well kind of.. I think he at least gave good ol dad a heads up!

So this Christmas was awesome! Hope everyone else's was as great as mine!

The holidays...

For some reason it seems like you should be prepared for Christmas, its not like it hasn't happened every year for your entire life, well not only Christmas but the holidays in general. But every year its like it jumps out from around a corner and "SURPRISE" its the holidays! First you have to decide where or what to do for each holiday.. and anyone that has a significant other, this can be quite the task.. coordinating family get togethers and such...
Then comes the presents.. I don't mean the presents you receive (although those make the season a little bearable) I am talking about deciding what to get everyone and their dog.. and of course there are 2 kinds of people, the ones that say they don't want anything (that secretly want everything) and those that are MORE than happy to whip out a list of select branded items that they would like wrapped with a green bow.. not red...
So this is just a brief overview of what the "holiday season brings for me..." along with joy and happiness and good times and laughs with family..

Its exciting when it gets here but stressful none the less...
